Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot (1796 – 1875) was a French painter of the Realism movement. He travelled extensively between France and Italy.

Although he did paint in a few cities in Normandy, one only in Le Havre (and three at the next-door-city of Sainte-Adresse), most of his works centers around Italy.

You can read more about him and his life on Wikipedia. Click here to read his bio.
